THIS IS HOW WE DO IT
I. Initial Consultation
Hello, nice to meet you! We provide an in-person consultation or virtual meeting depending on the circumstances. We are compliant with COVID-19 guidelines. We walk through the space with you, take measurements, and make sure we document your needs for each space. The initial meeting typically lasts between 1-2 hours.
II. Design Contract
Once we have seen the spaces you'd like to work on, we draft up a design contract that includes the scope of the project, projected budget and design time. We will make changes to the design contract before signing to make sure that we are addressing and understanding your needs.
III. Design Presentation
As soon as the design contract is signed and a deposit has been made, we get to work! This is one of our favorite parts of the process. We will pull together design concepts, products, and vision boards to present to you. This typically occurs 3 - 4 weeks after the initial consultation.
After a design presentation or two, and space planning, we ask for a full deposit for ordering furniture, light fixtures, rugs, tile, etc. Custom furniture orders typically arrive 8 - 12 weeks after the order is placed. We have certain items sent to you and some sent to a white glove delivery service. With new builds and remodels, we discuss ordering products and materials with your builder or contractor as well as with you. We track your orders and update you every step of the way.
V. Project Management
Before, during, and after ordering, we work diligently to oversee your project. We offer as little or as much involvement as you would like. We communicate with contractors, builders, and trades people to ensure that everyone is on the same page, organized, and meeting deadlines.
VI. Delivery & Installation
Yay! The time has come for your tile to be installed, your living room furniture to be placed, your wallpaper to be hung. We make sure that we communicate timelines to you and contact our installers to ensure your needs and deadlines are being met.
VII. Finishing Touches
The remodeling is done, installations are complete, and everything is in place. However, it still looks somewhat bare. It is time for us to come in and add those finishing touches that make a house a home. We will bring accessories, art, and style your home to reflect your lifestyle and personalities of the household.
Your project is complete! We want to showcase your project and provide you with a parting gift of lovely photos of your space. With your permission, we also use these photos on our website, marketing materials, and social media platforms.
